Established in 2006.
Opened and operated by a retired French chef. May of 2011 New York born chef Edward Stoddard took over operations.

New York native, brought to Sacramento in 1989 with the club corporation of America. The Capital club in the Renaissance tower after worked with Chef Matt Soga at Maces restaurant for many years. Then many times trying to get the small place inthe pavillions Mitchell's Terrace to work. Opened Morgan. Creek in Roseville. The best time of all RSS just recently. Opening the oyster bar at ella's.

  A great alternative to Subway. Just like Grandma used to make. If Grandma was a trained chef. I hate jury duty, but this place is only a couple of blocks from the courthouse and they serve fresh, well thought-out and excellently prepared food at a reasonable price for what it is.

  WOW! Even though I've worked at Park Tower across the street from this place for 3-1/2 years, today was my first visit! After tasting the soups I got (tomato basil and cream of mushroom with truffle oil) I'm thinking to myself - WHY MAN! Why haven't I been coming here for YEARS!! The soup selection was off the charts (six or so different varieties, which is why I got two - and apparently they change). The sandwiches look amazing too! DEFINITELY will be visiting many more times!

  Excellent soups and sandwiches. Friendly service. Some of the soups and sandwiches are always available and others get rotated around. Sometimes there is a wait during peak lunch hour.
